Moorer

The latest buzz in boxing has former heavyweight (and light heavyweight) world champion Michael 'Double M' Moorer (47-4-1; 37 KO's) making a possible return to the ring sometime in October. Last month, the 37 year old Moorer was the guest host on FNF, where at the beginning of the broadcast, he announced his intention to fight again. About 40 minutes later, fight analyst (and former trainer of Moorer) Teddy Atlas suggested that he retire from the ring. Without hesitation, Moorer accepted Atlas' advice and agreed to retire and concentrate on training other fighters. A possible opponent of Moorer could be Kevin Rooney protégé, Thomas Hayes (22-1, 15 KO's). Should Moorer return to the ring, it would be the fastest 'comeback-retirement-comebacks' in recent memory.
